Go outside and grab some flowers! What a fun task. The next time you are looking for a fun gardening with kids project, send them out to collect daisies or other wild flowers growing around you.
Then bring them all inside and prepare the flowers to be preserved. This kids crafts project will require some scrapbooking ideas to showcase the flowers in a book to be given to someone special whom the class chooses.
Let the kids choose someone their family knows in a hospital, or perhaps someone in a nursing home who would benefit from this kids gardening project. Simply take the pressed flowers and lay them out in the book, and allow each child to draw a picture on a blank page and sign their name.
If you have multiple flower books, prepare a set of bookplates and personalize them with your classroom information, perhaps marking the date of the gift or your name.
Create a printable greeting card and have all of the children sign it. You can also place an address label on the outside with your school's mailing address that matches your personalized stationary selected.
Making the project and the bookplates to mark and label the gift is not nearly as fun as giving the gift to someone who needs it.
Make a fun personalized stationery project with your kids today!
